Our Commitment
LinkDaddy® LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and applicable state and international accessibility laws.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
linkdaddy.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance and address known gaps.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of linkdaddy.com relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- HTML5 with semantic markup (header, nav, main, section, article, footer)
- CSS3 with sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
- WAI-ARIA roles, states, and properties where native HTML is insufficient
- JavaScript (ES2022) — all functionality available without JavaScript where possible
- Responsive design supporting viewport widths from 320px to 2560px
Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following accessibility features on our website:
- Semantic HTML5 structure with proper heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3)
- All images include descriptive alt text; decorative images use empty alt attributes
- Keyboard navigation support — all interactive elements are reachable via Tab key
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Colour contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for UI)
- Skip navigation link at the top of each page for screen reader users
- ARIA labels on navigation landmarks, buttons, and form elements
- Form fields include associated labels and error messages
- No content flashes more than 3 times per second (seizure prevention)
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Language attribute set on all pages (
lang="en-US") - Page titles are descriptive and unique for each page
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. Known limitations include:
- Some third-party embedded content (payment processors, chat widgets) may not be fully accessible — we are working with vendors to address this
- Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible — we are progressively updating these
- Some complex data tables may require additional ARIA markup — in progress
